The quality of Carlisle Security’s operations are underpinned by our accreditations for both quality and safety, and we are proud to hold the following accreditations:
SIA Approved Contractor (Security Guarding, Keyholding and Public Space Surveillance CCTV)
Carlisle Security is a Security Industry Authority Approved Contractor for the provision of Security Guarding, Keyholding and Public Space Surveillance CCTV operations. Our accreditation number for this all-important standard is: CASESES01.
Operating in Northern Ireland
We are licensed to operate in Northern Ireland and hold the relevant license as required under Section 106 (Regulation of the Provision of Security Services) of the Terrorism Act 2000.
BS EN ISO 9001 : 2008
We first obtained our BS EN ISO 9001:2008 accreditation (incorporating BS 7858, BS 7499, BS 7958 and BS 7984) from the National Security Inspectorate on 15 December 1995, and have held it ever since. In recognition of the importance of this standard we have organised our business so that all our main operating bases have their own ISO 9001 accreditations. Our certificate number is GRD/G/5273/7.
NSI Gold Award for Guarding
We have achieved, and continue to hold, the National Security Inspectorate’s (NSI) Gold Award for Guarding. The following is the NSI’s own quote describing this award:

Security Watchdog Silver Fox Award
The Security Watchdog, the industry’s independent quality assurance organisation has awarded us their Silver Fox Award. In order to obtain this award the Security Watchdog carry out a number of “penetration exercises” and attempt to breach security provided by us. Only if they fail to do so after multiple attempts is the Silver Fox Award given.
International Professional Security Assocation ("IPSA")

Link-Up Scheme Accreditation
The “Link Up” Certification Scheme certifies companies who have achieved recognised standards required by the transportation industry where there is a more stringent legislative standard, for example the Transport and Works Act, required of their workers. We have been accredited by the Link Up Scheme for the provision of security personnel.
Contractor’s Health and Safety Scheme (“CHAS”)
Carlisle Security are members of the government’s “CHAS” Scheme, exemplifying further our commitment to health and safety in the workplace.
British Safety Council
We are proud that our sound working practices and our attention to the all-important safety of our workers, the staff of the client and the general public, was recognised when the British Safety Council admitted us as a full member. We are fully committed to maintaining the standards of the British safety Council and for promoting it’s aims in the workplace.
Training Accreditation
Our Training Managers are all Skills for Security accredited and our Training Centres around the UK are also National Open College Network (NOCN) approved. We also hold an NOCN Roaming License allowing us to deliver accredited training and examine candidates on suitable client premises.
In December 2009 we were recognised by Investors in People. This recognises our commitment to providing first class training and wefare to all of our staff along with opportunities for ongoing career development.
