Carlisle Security Triumph at the Security Excellence Awards

Marking the highpoint of a year of success, Carlisle Security arrived at the awards with eleven nominations and three finalist places already in the bag. Taking the award for Best Security Partnering Initiative for our work with Merseyrail turned an already successful night into an outstanding one.
Crucially the Partnering Initiative category requires the total support of the client and their input. This was a category in which Carlisle Security was strongly favoured to win, having no less than six individual nominations in their own right for this category alone. Commenting last night on the win, Richard Chappell, Managing Director of Carlisle Security, said: “This was the one to win. Delivering great security solutions require a partnership approach; this award recognises that Carlisle Security does that better than anyone else in the country.” Richard added: “We are fortunate to have clients, and in this particular case Merseyrail, whose approach is the same as ours, and whose overriding concern is service quality. Tonight, Merseyrail and Carlisle Security are both winners.” The award was collected by Richard Chappell (MD, Carlisle Security), Martin Woollam (Operations Director, Carlisle Security) and Mike Carroll (Security Manager, Merseyrail).Desmond Doyle the Group Chief Executive of Impellam PLC, Carlisle Security’s parent company also attended the event for the first time.
